This listing is for an unpolished, undyed multicolor agate geode / thunderegg from Turkey weighing a total of 10.3 Ibs (4.7 kg). The first 8 pictures and video were taken outdoors with the geode wet (not under direct sunlight); the rest, indoors and dry. We did not apply any filters to the photos or video, before or after taking them. It will grace any rock collection, cut or uncut. The photos and video speak volumes. This uncut lapidary thunder egg / collectible geode from the Cubuk (Çubuk) area in Ankara. It is a very solid and heavy agate geode that really weighs down in the palm of your hand. If you are familiar with Cubuk agates, then you know what this geode represents. For those unfamiliar with Cubuk geodes -- this is not the kind of geode you crack open with a hammer. If you are going to open it, it needs to be cut with a lapidary saw; either by yourself, or by a professional stone cutter.

While geode interiors can be a mystery, the fact that this is a Cubuk geode nulls a lot of the uncertainty. Again, if you are familiar with Cubuk agates, then you know the quality this agate geode represents.
